Kant and Hegel are two important philosophers of Europe. For Kant Enlightenment is the beginning for a cosmopolitan Europa. Morality is able to give future ends beyond the limits of policy. For Hegel, citizenship is the way people live substantial ethics. Nowadays the Kantian conception is dominating: Europe is a legal economical construction.
